“My husband, Steve Garman, and I seldom talked about retirement simply because he planned on continuing to do the work he loved so much forever at our studio - Garman Productions, since 1981. He really had no hobbies; his work was his hobby.

Once when I introduced the dreaded “R" word, I started out by saying, ‘But just in case you DON'T live forever, what should I do with the business that we've built here? Who do you know who could take over this place and serve the needs of our clients?’

Steve's answer? ‘Jeremy Gossett’, who had been a client as well as doing free-lance shooting for us many times. He had also worked with Steve on several audio and video projects in the past 20 years.

Steve and I both respected Jeremy's maturity, creativity, work ethic, and his attention to every tiny detail of any project he brought in. Steve said that Jeremy was the best person he knew who could move his own business into our building and combine it with our business if something happened to Steve.
